You can run or walk any of our Ealing Trail Run routes in your time. Please note that at certain times of year, some trails can be muddy and wet so wear appropriate footwear.

Osterley Farm Trail (10k)
This route starts along the Hanwell flight of locks and will take you up to the Brunel designed Three Bridges. Coming off the canal, discover Tentelow Woods before heading towards Osterley Farm. There are good views of Wembley Stadium on a clear day as you cross over the M4 pedestrian bridge and look out for horses, cows, flocks of geese, and potentially a famous set of Bees on the farmlands. Wyke Green and Long Wood will bring you around to Warren Farm before crossing the canal and returning to the start point at The Fox pub.

Yeading Brook Trail (13k)
Following the Yeading Brook through meadows and green spaces, this run will take you along parts of the Hillingdon Trail before crossing the Golden Bridge and visiting the 12th century St Mary’s Church standing proudly at the head of Northolt Village. The final stretch meanders along the Grand Union Canal adjacent to Marnham and King George’s Fields before returning to Spikes Bridge Park.

Brent River Park & Pitshanger Park (10k)
An exploration of the open spaces and greenways of the Brent River Park. These routes were created in the 1970s by the Brent River and Canal Society and in particular from the work of local campaigner Luke Fitzherbert. Now, 50 years later, these spaces continue to evolve and are planned to be part of the new designated Regional Park in the area in the coming years. The route is mainly run on grass and gravel paths some of which will be wet after rain.

Boston Manor Park (10k)
Starting and finishing in Boston Manor Park, home to the Jacobean manor house built in 1623, our route will take in the surrounding trails of the Grand Union Canal, Elthorne Park and the Jubilee Meadow which is part of the Hanwell and Norwood Green Orchard Trail. Look out for Blackberry Corner, the 18th century cedar trees and the many cranes who inhabit the canal. The route is a mainly a mixture of gravel paths and grassland.

Horsenden Hill (10k)
This route takes us up and over the highest point in Ealing and a chance to see the Ealing Beaver Project. The meeting point is adjacent to the car park at Horsenden Farm, where we can also enjoy post run refreshments at the Horsenden Loaf café. The top of Horseden Hill provides great view across London on a clear day.

Pear Tree Park & Northala Fields (12k)
This route joins two re-purposed green spaces; Northala Fields and Pear Tree Park. The Northala mounds were created when the new Wembley Stadium was built and Pear Tree Park created when Perivale Golf Course was closed. Both green spaces contain excellent pathways for us to enjoy.

Hillingdon Trail (11k)
A true trail run following the Yeading Brook and Hillingdon Trail. We'll run through Ten Acre Wood and the Ickenham Marsh navigating the perimeter of RAF Northolt. The trail is usually wet and muddy so trail shoes are recommended.

Brent River Park & Pitshanger Park v2 (11.5k)
Running through the heart of the Brent River Park, this 11.5k route predominately travels along dirt and park paths. The Brent River Park, designated as Public Open Space was formally opened in June 1975 and remains a beautiful place to enjoy, to this day.

Tentelow Woods (10k)
This route follows the canal, Tentelow Wood and Meadow, crosses Osterley Farm and Long Wood. Try this route in spring and you should be treated to a carpet of bluebells!

Willow Tree Park (11k)
Starting along the canal to reach Willow Tree, then Rectory and Lime Tree parks before hitting the trails, crossing the Golden Bridge linking Sharvel and Charville Lanes and meander back to Spikes Bridge Park following the Yeading Brook.

Horsenden Hill & Grand Union Canal (10k)
This run is an out and back along the Grand Union Canal and around the Horsenden Hill Nature Reserve including a trip up to the highest point in the borough. The route is a mixture of canal paths and trails with minimal tarmac sections, trails shoes are advised if the weather has been wet.
