WE RUN EALING is Ealing’s running charity
We deliver community-focused running initiatives, most of which are free and open to people of all abilities. We also support and partner with like-minded people and organisations that share our vision.
Previously known as EHM Legacy CIC, we have done heaps of stuff over the last twelve years to help get people moving and volunteering in Ealing. We have installed a drinking fountain in Lammas Park – popular with both humans and dogs! During the pandemic we devised challenges to encourage Ealing residents to run or walk to dozens of local parks.
More recently we launched our regular Ealing Trail Runs and, in partnership with GoodGym, introduced Ealing’s first ever Food Bank Run. We have organised collections of unwanted running shoes at parkrun, sending 250+ shoes to be reused or recycled, saving them from landfill. We have also created a library of Running Resources; a collection of links, apps and groups useful for anyone keen to start running, to support their running or meet like-minded people through running.
WE RUN EALING is the charitable beneficiary of Ealing Half Marathon and as custodians of the brand, we are delighted that Race Nation has been our delivery partner since 2021. This partnership secures the future of this jewel in Ealing’s event calendar for many years to come and ensures the extremely popular children’s Ealing Mini-Mile, the Ealing Feeling 5K, West London 10K and the monthly Ealing Mile continue to take place.
In 2024, we launched Ealing’s first ever ultramarathon event, The Queen of the Suburbs Ultra & Trail 25k. After two successful years, we have now passed the event over to delivery partner Krono Sports and, as a charity, we continue to benefit from its growing success.
We organise group training runs and support for Ealing Half Marathon and Queen of the Suburbs Ultra & Trail 25k participants. We are delighted to see these events grow and inspire even more people to get moving and take up running!
These and our other activities are listed on our Calendar of Activities. If you would like to partner with us, find out more, or volunteer with us, please get in touch - or join us on one of our Monthly Social Runs!
All profits from our t-shirts go directly to the charity, helping keep most of our activities free and supporting more events for our amazing community.
Local trail routes for running or walking
plus regular guided social runs
These are just a couple of examples of the kind of the events and activities we do.

We are keen to grow the activity and reach of the charity but to do this we require additional funding and resource, we are therefore looking to recruit an additional trustee with experience of fundraising and/or grant applications. The role is a voluntary.
We are a community of local people with a desire to make Ealing a better place to live.
We do this by promoting, volunteering and creating a network of running activities for all.
In parks and open spaces.
On river banks and canal paths.
In schools and workplaces.
At events and in clubs.
Young and old, fast and not so fast and all those in between.
One foot in front of the other, one step at a time.
We aspire to be the UK’s most active running community.
100% of your donation goes towards our charitable aims.
